Kristin Collard, D.D.S. was born and raised in Northwest Indiana graduating from Bishop Noll Institute with an honors diploma, completing undergraduate studies in Biology and Chemistry at Saint Mary’s College of Notre Dame with academic honors before receiving her doctorate degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2007 where she was awarded the Professional Service Leadership Award.
Dr. Collard is an alumna of the National Health Service Corps, previously a part-time faculty member at the Indiana University Northwest Dental Hygiene School where she currently still volunteers, a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and the Northwest Indiana Dental Society, of which she has served on the Board of Directors since 2011, past Secretary, VP, President Elect and is the current 2016-2017 President. She also serves on the Council of Peer Review Committee, serves on the Council of Dental Education, serves as a delegate for the IDA House of Delegates, and is a member of the Pierre Fauchard Dental Honor Society. Through her commitment to continuing education she is also a member of the Regions Women’s Dental Study Club, Master Series in Treatment Planning, the Academy of General Dentistry, Spear Study Club and the Dental Study Club of Northwest Indiana, which is a chapter of the prestigious Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Collard enjoys running, golfing, playing softball, country music concerts and watching sports. Family is very important to Dr. Collard and she loves spending time with her parents, her two brothers and their wives, her adorable five nieces and one nephew who all reside in Northwest Indiana, and of course her eleven year old yellow labrador retriever named Coach.
